Vitiligo ( Shwitram)
It is a disease that causes loss of skin color in patches.It usually begins at hands, feet, lips, fingertips, hairline or wound site.In ayurveda it is called shwitram.We have been treating shwitram successfully for a very long time, on an average 80% of people have positive feedback.The treatment consists of internal medicines pathya and admitted treatment for a period of 12-20 days according to the severity of the condition
Psoriasis (Sidma)
Psoriasis(sidma kushta) is a skin disorder that usually cause a rash with itching and scaly patches ,Starting at the knees, elbow, scalp etc. which then can spread to the whole body. If untreated it can lead to pain in joints, stiffness & inflammation, discoloration & pitting in nails, crack and bleeding in affected parts etc. The treatment usually starts with snehapana(12 days) and is then followed by dhara and lepanam.So far, we have treated patients successfully in almost all the cases.
